DT pocket card

Today's it's a criss cross easel card and a Christmas one at that!
The new challenge over at Simply Magnolia is to create a POCKET CARD.
I decided to do a criss cross card for that, but then decided to take it a little bit further.
I love the criss cross cards but for the recipient they can be difficult to display.
Stamps are Magnolia Cocco with present, Cozy Christmas bear and Holly swirl.
I have only used one design paper, Magnolia, Blue Christmas Holly.
I've coloured with copics, heat embossed with red glitter and stamped some of the holly swirl and edged with Vintage Photo.

Dies are Spellbinders circle, Picot edge circle, Magnolia Heart tag and Memory Box Holly border.
The envelope I've cut up to use was given to me by my great Simply Magnolia teamie. Thanks Anja!
I have also loaded on the glitter and yes I was covered in it.

Mother's Day card

Yes, I've been at it again, this time creating a Mother's Day card.
There's no colouring this time and not even any design papers.

I have followed the sketch at Justright Papercraft Friday Challenge and used the
'Purple and Green' theme for the challenge at Wild Orchid Challenges.
I am also entering the Fashionista Challenge which has a Mother's Day theme.

For my backing paper I have heat embossed the Elegant Fronds background stamp from the Justrite cling range and then added some perfect pearl over top.
I have also used Spellbinders dies, layering them with foam dots.
Dies include ovals (one of which was also embossed) fancy tags two,
beaded ovals and labels eighteen.
Here is a closer look at the glittered flowers. I'm quite disappointed the photo doesn't show how glittery they really are.

Time for bed now, Night...

Anniversary card

The kids went back to school today after 2 weeks holidays and boy did I make the most of that. As soon as the house was mine, I quickly organised dinner and tidied up a bit only to completely make a huge mess in the study/craft room for the rest of the day, although I must say it was heaps of fun!
I made an Anniversary card for a DT buddie and gave the cuttlebug a decent workout!

Stamp - Stempelglede Grunge Flourish Hearts embossed in silver.
Dies include, Magnolia Heart flourish lace and flowers
Spellbinders Floral ovals, Scalloped oval and Fancy Tags two.
Text was printed from the computer.

Birthday cake

Hello, a special someone is soon having a birthday and I have made this card for her.
I have used Magnolia's 'Summer cake' stamp to create this shaker card.
I cannot tell you which copics I used, as my daughter decided to colour too
and moved the ones I had been using. Argh!
Papers are Bo Bunny, Sweet Tooth Collection.
Dies are Magnolia and a Martha Stewart punch.

Tilda loves Spring

I've been getting busy again creating more cards, I really had forgotten how relaxing it can be to just sit and create. I really am so glad my wrists seem to be back to normal. Simply Magnolia begins a new Colour Combo challenge today, and we are kindly sponsored by The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop aswell as Stamping Tilda. Below is the picture for inspiration and
I love how pretty these colours are together.

I have coloured Tilda with Ugg Shoes using my copics and masked it with
Magnolia's Barbed wire fence stamp.
The sentiment and it's matching die is from Whimsy stamps.
I have also used Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die and Magnolia's fence, butterfly
and swirl leaf dies. There is some glitter on the butterflies and flowers, although the photo doesn't show it. Embellishments are mostly from The Ribbon Girl.

I am entering into the following challenges,
(lace sentiment metal)
Papertake weekly - Anything goes
Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnoia challenge - Butterflies or things that flutter

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful  week.
